When I took over the project, I was fresh out of university and had no real idea about the market. The economic success of the product that we had spent years working on was in no way ever guaranteed.
They had expected to make 50 sales in the first year at Olympus, but in fact, by the end of the first year, the order books contained more than sales. None of our competitors are able to develop, let alone produce, such a complex device. The success has also largely been due to the systematic research work invested in the ENDOEYE products following the initial positive developments, which has led to a whole host of pioneering innovative products. I really liked this book. It had well-drawn characters, a good plot and plausible pseudo-science. I enjoyed the read The book just ended. There was no climax, no denouncement. It just stopped mid-story. Here's my problem. I usually don't pay that much for indie books, but this one looked really interesting. I feel that this is bait and switch.

I won't pay that much for a Michael Connelly or Clive Cussler novel. How does the author have the nerve to charge more for his work than these writing super-stars.
But I will say again, what I did get to read was excellent. However, with this bait and switch tactic, I can only give it 3-stars. I give it half a rating for half a book. July 8, - Published on Amazon. This was different, and a fun read. I don't think the hero was all that well developed in the first book, but by the second and third ones, he filled out quite a bit. Meanwhile, suspending one's incredulousness at the science itself as with most science-fiction , this is a great read if you are in to conspiracies, or if you just don't trust government in general.
Definitely a page-turner. July 5, - Published on Amazon. Overall I enjoyed the book. But I was repeatedly struck by one omission. What about Dusty's brother?!? Perhaps the biggest champion he could have, and his brother is absent after the first act. It just struck me as a glaring omission. But the book was a good read, and I believe an excellent characterization of how our government could and would react to the average citizen creating something similar.
