Very good In spite of this book being about Kade and Tess appearing only briefly in the story, the backstory is starting to come together. Seemingly loose ends show themselves as part of the woof and weft of the tapestry being woven here. Character development is emphasized heavily, especially for Kade, and we get to know some other characters that we've previously met only briefly and even a few new ones.
Kade is developing spiritually as well so once again Ms. Hughes's knowledge of all things s Very good In spite of this book being about Kade and Tess appearing only briefly in the story, the backstory is starting to come together. Hughes's knowledge of all things surrounding the "Tristate" is on display. These books just get better and better and I would recommend them to anyone that fears death since the emphasis is on what happens after and on how life can be lived more happily and without fear.
Those who just want a ghost story should probably enjoy the series as well and might learn something in the process. Book six is bound to be great as everything starts to come together!

Another great book in this series! I have enjoyed every single one from the beginning, and I hope that Ms. Hughes will continue on because I don't want Tess and Kades stories to end!

Ghost Trouble (Tess Schafer-Medium #5) by Deborah J. Hughes
Her military life now behind her, Deborah is focused on bringing her stories into existence through the production of her novels. All six books in her Tess Schafer-Medium series have made it onto Amazon's top-selling book lists for their genre. Haunting Ground. Deborah J. While visiting friends in her old home town, Tess becomes involved with two puzzling paranormal mysteries. Of course, with her ability that is nothing new. Determined to solve them, she must also make time for the family of the man who killed her husband.
Although she's been able to move on from the tragedy, they have not. The more she gets to know them, the more certain she becomes that there is more to their story than what they are telling her. Stranger still is the increase in paranormal phenomena. All of which tells her there is much more going on than troubled ghosts needing help and a family in turmoil. Answers to her growing pile of questions need to be solved and quick. The messages to "help him" are becoming more urgent and so are her feelings on the matter!
There is more at stake here than settling past hurts and putting spirits to rest.
